Day Night blinds are made with 3/4” and 3/8” honeycomb cellular fabrics. Each blind has two fabric selections, one full panel of fabric the width and height of your window on the top and another full panel below attached by an aluminum transitional bar, allowing you the convenience to fully control the privacy and light entering your home. We offer Day and Night blinds with two light filtering fabrics, one more room darkening than the other. We also offer classic Day and Night blinds with one panel of light filtering fabric and another blackout fabric below.
With its minimum mounting requirement of 3/4” these beautiful and practical shades can be installed within almost any window frame. We offer this product in a wide variety of complimentary neutral toned colour options with a base cordless lifting system as well as a battery motorisation upgrade.

ADVANTAGES OF DAY NIGHT CELLULAR BLINDS
These shades are the only window covering that offers two blinds in one convenient, compact system. The light filtering panel can be used during the day to soften the light while the blackout panel below will block the light and offer full privacy. The fabric can also meet in the middle of the window, offering precise control over the light entering the room. The transitional bar connecting the fabrics can be used to raise and lower the bottom panel of fabric and the bottom bar can be used to fully raise the blind to the top of the window.

Two Fabric Selections
We offer you the choice to select both the top and bottom panels of fabric, either two light filtering fabrics or one light filtering and one blackout. Complimentary colours have been chosen so both the top and bottom fabrics have a similar colour choice, but many choose to select two different coloured fabrics.
Cordless lift
These beautiful shades are completely cordless with a spring tension system inside the headrail. With a pull or push of your hand, the blind glides smoothly up or down. This option will provide a clean look for your windows, free of any dangling cords, chains or wands.
Battery Motorization
If you want to upgrade to the ultimate luxury of window blinds consider our battery motorisation. We offer a 12V motor with an external rechargeable battery that can be charged every 3-4 months. We offer 1 channel and 5 channel remotes with our battery motors.
Miracle Fit Light Blocker
The Miracle Fit light blockers are an ingenious design that will be installed just behind the blinds along the window frame to help reduce the light seeping in between the edge of fabric and the side of the window frame. This accessory is ideal for bedrooms and nurseries where a little more light block in is required.

What type of fabric is available with the day night shades?
The day night shades are made with honeycomb cellular fabric. We offer light filtering and blackout fabrics in ¾” and ⅜” cells in a variety of light and dark neutral tones to suit every style.
How do you open and close day night blinds?
Our day/night blinds are cordless, simply push and pull the bottom bar or transitional bar to open and close the blinds, or shift from light filtering to blackout. We also offer a motorization upgrade with a battery motor.
Are these blinds insulating?
Yes! The cellular fabric used in the day night shades is insulating. It will keep your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer, saving you money on utility bills!
Does the blind fully recess into the headrail?
Yes. The blind has two aluminum bars, a weighted bottom bar to keep the blind level and a lighter transitional bar where the two fabrics will meet. When the blind is fully pushed up into the headrail, the bars stack with the headrail for a total of 4”.
Can I choose if the blackout fabric will be on the top or the bottom?
The top and bottom fabrics are selected on the website but customizations are available if you contact one of our customer service representatives.
What is the minimum depth needed to install day/night blinds?
The minimum depth required to install day/night shades is ¾” for both inside and outside mount making these blinds ideal for any space with minimal depth available to mount.
How do you best maintain day/night blinds?
Regularly open and close both portions of the blinds to ensure no dust gathers. Spot clean with a humid cloth.
Do day/night blinds work with the miracle fit light blockers?
Yes! These shades are so versatile they are compatible with the patented miracle fit night blockers.
Can day/night blinds be mounted to the ceiling?
Yes, our brackets are universal and can be installed to either the ceiling or wall.
What are the fabric combinations available with Day/night shades?
We offer day/day combos with two different light filtering fabrics, one more transparent for day and one that blocks light during the peak sunny afternoons. Both offer privacy. We also offer day/night blinds which allows light filtering and blackout fabric to be combined. The default will be light filtering fabric as the top fabric and blackout fabric as the bottom panel but if you prefer a different orientation, simply call on our representatives.
