The Madeline Light Filtering collection is available in a variety of contemporary and attractive colors. By far our most popular decorative roller shade model, this highly functional yet economical shade is made from high-quality materials featuring natural textures and colors. This product filters the light to brighten the room, while still allowing you to maintain your privacy. We offer this product in 3 colors.
Madeline Roller Shade
Fabric: Woven polyester and PVC. Light-filtering fabric
Option: 1, 2 or 3 shades on the same headrail available up to 144” in width
Roller Tube: Aluminum
Valance Option: PVC valance with fabric, aluminum compact cassette (with or without fabric insert), aluminum square cassette (with or without fabric), square fascia (4”)

Our shades have up to an additional 12 inches of fabric in height in order to conceal the roller tube
Minimum distance required for installation on the ceiling without valance 2 1/4”
Inside mount installation: do not make any deductions. The manufacturer will be sure to deduct for a perfect fit. The width of the fabric will be approximately 1/2’’ less than the actual measurement to account for the roller mechanism.
Outside mount installation: the width of the valance will be the measurement provided in your order and the fabric will be approximately 5/8” less on each side. If, for example, the space to be covered is 60”, it is recommended to order 64” (being an additional 2” on each side) to ensure that the entire frame is covered, avoiding any gaps that would allow the light to shine through.

I ordered the Madeline light filtering shade in cream. The Color sample online looks like a soft off white. When blinds finally arrived they were more yellow than soft white.( albeit I did not order samples as I needed them as quickly as possible, should have know better) I did send an email , but no help happened there.
The non-motorized are pretty easy to put up, although have to say the child prove wand is pretty cheap plastic.
As for the motorized blind, well where to get started! There were no other instructions other than”don’t hit with hammer” ! Really!?! So this took a bit to figure out, not to mention I ordered them to be plugged in , as I have a handy plug near window. WELL there was virtually just a 2’ wire hanging down?!?! So had to run to Home Depot to buy a plug end to attach to it, and then run an extension cord up to top of window. Luckily curtains hide the extension cord.
And then they sent 2 different instructions for the remote control, hmmmm ….not for the one they actually sent me. Yikes! So had to figure that out as well. So if your not good at setting up electronics, you may have a tough time! (And luckily I did this part when husband wasn’t home! )
Would I recommend? Meh…. Can’t say yes , can’t say no. The blinds look nice , even tho not the Color I expected, and after a bit of hair pulling frustration the motorized blind works, and the cheap child safe wand works ok .
