Many houses have sliding glass doors that lead to the terrace or backyard. One of the most interesting options of the vertical blind feature is their multiple opening options: left stack, right stack, opening from the center (center split) or opening toward the center (center stack). Vertical blinds on patio doors are effective because they ensure that the doors remain accessible. The standard patio door is 72 inches wide and 84 inches high, which is a lot of space to cover. You can have additional blind slats cut to size to fit the unit space without compromising the coverage of the rest of the window. The slats can be easily exchanged with the originals in the fall when removing the wall unit.
